If you can’t redeem your code, you can try to fix problems with gift cards and promo codes. If that doesn’t work, get more help.

To use a gift card or promotional code, the country of your Google Play Account must match the country where the gift card or promotional code is offered. If you get a message that says Google Play gift cards aren’t valid in your country/region, learn how to change your Google Play country.

No fees or expiration dates apply to this Gift Card or Credit. Any refunded Google Play amounts, if applicable, will be credited back to your Google Play balance for future use under the same terms, unless otherwise required by law.

It’s not possible to share or transfer content between accounts on Google Play, even if you own both accounts. If you have multiple accounts on your device, make sure you sign in to the account you want to use before you complete your purchase.

If you’ve bought an app on the wrong account, contact the app developer. They may be able to refund your purchase so you can buy it again on the account you wanted to use.
